You can cancel a paid Thinstep plan at any time from Settings → Plan & payment, or from the billing page. Cancel returns the account to Free. Paid software features, including the optional assistant, stop after cancel.
How payment works
Creem is the Merchant of Record. They charge your card or wallet, send the invoice, and collect any sales tax. Refunds for paid plans are processed through Creem.
When we refund
- If you cancel within 14 days of a first paid charge and have not used a material amount of paid features, we will refund that charge.
- If checkout billed you twice, or billed after a successful cancel, we will refund the extra charge.
- If the product was unavailable in a way that blocked paid features for several days, we will refund the unused portion of that month.
Renewal charges after the 14-day window are generally not refunded, because you can cancel before the next renewal. We still look at fair exceptions — write to us.
How to ask
Email hello@thinstep.app from the address on the account, or use the support link on your Creem receipt. Include the invoice id if you have it.
Chargebacks
Please contact us or Creem first. A dispute with your bank can pause the account while it is investigated.
