These terms cover how you use Thinstep at thinstep.app. Thinstep is operated by Abdelrahman Soliman, a sole proprietor in Cairo, Egypt. Contact: hello@thinstep.app. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.
The product
Thinstep is consumer software that helps you score five life areas and pick one next step. The Free plan includes scores, goals, actions, and check-ins and is fully usable without any assistant. We do not sell a general-purpose chatbot, character chat, or model API. Thinstep is a self-help productivity tool, not therapy, medical care, financial advice, or a crisis service. If you are in danger or distress, contact local emergency services.
Your account
You must be at least 16. Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may close an account that is abusive, fraudulent, or used to harm others.
Paid plans
Pro and Premium are software subscriptions for the same product, with extra analysis of your own scores and an optional in-app assistant. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
Paid subscriptions are sold by Armitage Labs OÜ (trading as Creem), our Merchant of Record. Creem handles checkout, invoices, sales tax, and payment methods. Your payment contract for paid plans is with Creem, in addition to these terms with Abdelrahman Soliman trading as Thinstep. Statement descriptor: CREEM.IO* STORE.
In-app assistant
On paid plans, an optional assistant can explain your scores, goals, and next steps. It is limited to your account context. It is not a public chatbot, not a substitute for a professional, and outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You must review outputs before relying on them.
You are responsible for the prompts you submit, how you use outputs, and for having rights to any text you enter.
You must not use the assistant to:
- create illegal content or instructions to commit wrongdoing
- create non-consensual sexual content, intimate imagery, or deepfakes
- harass, threaten, or incite violence
- create malware, steal credentials, or bypass safeguards
- publish another person’s private data without a lawful basis
- impersonate others or evade safety controls
We may filter outputs, refuse requests, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts for policy violations or suspected abuse. Rights holders can write to hello@thinstep.app for takedown requests. Repeated infringement can lead to account closure.
Cancel and refunds
You can cancel from Settings. After cancel, the account returns to Free. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, scrape, or overload the service.
- Do not share another person’s private data without permission.
Availability
We aim to keep Thinstep running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. The assistant can be temporarily unavailable. Core scores and next steps still work without it.
Liability
Thinstep is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make from scores or assistant replies. Our total liability for a paid period is limited to the fees you paid for that period.
